We all have family stories passed down through living memory, sometimes they get distorted, elaborated or changed, even lost for all time. We can take you on a journey into the past discovering the life history behind the names and places important to you. Our research can help you understand these stories and place them into context within your family history.
You can select from our three set packages to set the level of research for your family history or perhaps, select a special research package if you have specific requirements. For our set packages we do not charge hourly rates, we like to think that the one price should provide the service and results without hidden extras. If you choose to pick a more specialised research package, then there can be an hourly charge rate applied however, limits will always be set by you and predefined. As with all research, results vary from individual and requirements, therefore we always apply a flexible approach to guide you to options that best suit your requirements.

All our research services are tailored to your needs. Wheather it is researching a family line back through the years, or a more specialised form of research, we always ensure that our research is accurate and as complete as possible. It can be presented in a number of different formats which can encompass a simple person history file, or perhaps a GED file presented in an industry standard format suitable for most family tree software packages.
We can also provide a more specialised research package which may incorporate many different aspects. Ranging from specific military history, or house history to help you understand your local surroundings and its past history or perhaps you have a family heirloom that you would like to understand its history. It could also be any old document that you would like to be researched or need help interpreting and reading the older style character writing. We can also provide help in an archive visit for any specific research or just a look up service.
We also provide a metal detecting service for historical research and follow all the recognised guidlines of the National Council of Metal Detectors.
Whatever your requirements are, all our results are presented in a format that suits your needs.
